Returns & support

Carbon-fiber support. Light in hand.

On a long trail, every item you carry adds up. Keep your walking setup light with a slender carbon-fiber shaft—a material valued for its high strength relative to its weight. It brings lightweight construction and trail support together, without a bulky feel in your hand or on your pack.

Approximately 157 g per pole in Short and 168 g per pole in Long: a lightweight companion for walks where carrying less matters.

Three sections. One compact carry.

When the pole is not needed, slide the three shaft sections into one another and stow it in the included pouch. The telescopic design retracts to 56 cm in Short or 61 cm in Long—ready to carry between stretches of trail, with no folding joints to assemble.

Metal levers. Easy-to-check adjustment.

Two external locks with metal levers give you visible access to each adjustable section. Open the lever, set your length within the marked range, then close and check it before walking. Clear shaft markings help you return to your preferred setting.

A longer EVA grip, with room to find your hold.

The extended, contoured EVA grip offers more room to reposition your hand as the trail changes. Its foam surface cushions your hold, while the adjustable wrist strap lets you set a comfortable fit.

Trail tip. Road cover. One complete pole.

The tungsten-steel tip is intended for soil and gravel; fit the supplied rubber tip cover for paved paths. Mud and snow baskets are also included for changing ground conditions.

Each order includes one trekking pole—not a pair—plus a carrying pouch, rubber tip cover, mud basket and snow basket.

Construction at a glance

  • Slender carbon-fiber shaft; three-section telescopic design
  • Extended EVA grip and adjustable wrist strap
  • Two external locks with metal levers and clear shaft length markings
  • Tungsten-steel tip with removable rubber cover

Before and after your walk

Keep the shaft within its marked adjustment limits. Check both locks and the tip or cover before each use. Avoid trapping the shaft between rocks or applying sideways force. After use, wipe off dirt, check for damage and allow the pole and pouch to dry before storage.

TickedOff

A first-time trekking pole buyer chose carbon fiber for value and quality. The locking mechanisms initially needed adjustment, but then held firmly. At 260 lb, the reviewer expects the poles to provide enough support and considers them good value.
